How long do Microblading and Ombré Powdered Brows last?

Eyebrows should be refreshed every 1.5-2 years for maintenance. Fading is desired as your skin and facial structure will change as aging occurs. It is recommended to refresh them before 2 years and no sooner than 1 year.

How long do Microblading and Ombré Powdered Brows take to heal?

Your eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle. Days 1-4: The pigment will appear very sharp and dark. This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of your skin, and has not yet settled in completely. The color of the pigment will soften gradually. Do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the cotton swab, as this is excess pigment and/or body fluid that is naturally exiting your skin. Your brows may swell and appear larger also. Days 5-7: Once the healing of the skin starts taking place, it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. This might give you the impression that the pigment is fading too quickly, however, this is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. Days 8-12: Your brows may look as though the pigment has completely faded – do not panic – take a deep breath and trust the process. Days 14 -28: Your brows may still look a little patchy or uneven, but the pigment will start to “reappear” as the pigment settles and the healing continues. You may get your touch-up/perfecting procedure done at the 6 – 8 week point NO SOONER to allow for complete healing of the brows.

How long does it take to have Microblading or Ombré Powdered Brows applied?

It usually takes about 3 hours to apply this process.

What is the difference between Microblading and Ombré Powdered Brows?

Ombré Powdered Brows creates pixilated dots to mimic powder filled brows with no harsh front or outline. This shadow technique is minimally invasive, lasts longer and can be buildable from light to dark. Microblading creates hair like strokes using microfine needles. This method is suitable for candidates who have plenty of existing hair to blend with the created strokes. Great for those who have darker hair and want more volume.

Can you microblade over an existing tattoo?

Yes. However, the old tattoo must be significantly faded for the hair strokes to show through and look natural. If you do have an existing tattoo, we recommend that you submit a picture to our permanent makeup artists so we can determine whether you are a good candidate for the microblading procedure.

How should I prepare for my microblading appointment?

• Do not work out 48 hours before the procedure.
• *Discontinue any use on the face of retinol, glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and alpha hydroxyls, as well as any chemical anti-aging exfoliants, eyebrow growth serums, or any "brightening" skin care products at least two to three weeks prior to your microblading procedure. These products thin the skin and do not produce good healed resu Its.
• Botox and dermal fillers should be avoided at least two to
three weeks prior to the procedure.
• Avoid sun and tanning beds at least two weeks prior to your appointment because when your skin exfoliates
a sunburn, it will take the pigment with it.
• Do not take any Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, or Advil within 48 hours of your appointment.
• Avoid blood thinning supplements, like garlic, turmeric, vitamin E and fish oils.
• Do not consume alcohol within 24-48 hours before procedure, and do not consume caffeine the morning of your appointment.
• No brow waxing, tinting, or threading at least one week prior to your appointment.
• Come with your brows penciled in so we can see how you like and are used to having them.
